ABSTRACT 8089 "Falling Down" Partridge Falls on the Pigeon River

ABSTRACT 8544 "Maple forest abstract" Sometimes its fun to play around with shutter speeds and create some abstract images with an otherwise "ordinary" scene. This image is a 1/2 second exposure of a stand of Maple trees. I shot the image hand-held, without the use of a tripod and panned the camera vertically during the 1/2 second exposure.

ABSTRACT 8586 "Light on water" On a very cloudy morning just after sunrise, the sun peeked through the clouds just long enough to illuminate the water as it washed over this rock on the Lake Superior shoreline.
